Virtualization

As Virtualization Solution we use Xen . Xen operates our Virtual Private Servers and consolidates a good part of our IT infrastructure.

Clustering

To deliver your services high-available we make use of DRBD and Linux-HA.

Performance-optimized PHP5

The PHP-accelerator xCache takes care of a significant improvement in execution time of your PHP applications. With the caching of optimized and compiled PHP-scripts the execution time gets boosted by a factor of 1 up to 10.

Security

Security has high value in our company. Our servers are configured after international Best Practices.

On our Shared Hosting Servers we use mod_fcgid and suEXEC for a strict isolation and privilege separation between customer webs.
Increased security for PHP applications is delivered by Suhosin.

Spam- and Virus-Protection

In order to only let pass the least possible volume of spam and viruses, we use SpamAssassin and Amavis together with up-to-date virus scanners.

Userfriendly Hostingpanel

With our Hostingpanel you can comfortably manage your Email, transfer files via FTP, create SQL databases, protected directories and replay the backup of yesterday. For that, we use ISPControl.

Backups

Your data gets backed up redundant on a daily basis. Should there be a problem or dataloss, you can restore the backup of yesterday in the hostingpanel or upon request let us recover from earlier backups. The traffic for backups is not being charged.

24h-Monitoring

The availability of our servers and important IT-Services is constantly monitored around the clock. In an error case immidiately a technicial will be notified, which takes care after the problem. Therefore we use Munin together with Nagios.

Free Software

On our servers, we prefer to use Debian Linux and therefore excludingly GPL-licensed software. The software is constantly maintained and held up-to-date with current patches.
